PWS Launches Their New Modular UXR Rifle

At SHOW Show 2024, PWS (Primary Weapons Systems) just dropped their User Xchange Rifle (UXR). Set to hit the market in early 2024 with 5.56 and 300 BLK variations, the UXR platform will soon expand to include .308 and 8.6 BLK configurations later this year.

The true innovation in the UXR platform lies in the patent-pending Xchange system. The upper receiver of the UXR is the only serialized part of the setup, enabling the shooter to easily transition from configuration to configuration, caliber to caliber. The UXR also features an incomparable look and feel – combining functionality, ergonomics, and aesthetics into one platform. Adaptability is the core principle of the UXR, showcased in its many customizable features such as an adjustable buttstock that can fold left or right, an adjustable cheek plate, and ambidextrous-able selector switch, magazine release and even the charging handle.

The UXR platform also features a proprietary internal operation, or a “modified long-stroke piston system”, allowing the rifle to adapt and perform flawlessly with any UXR barrels regardless of caliber. This allows the user to swap calibers and barrels without needing to adjust the gas system each and every time. The newly designed Bore Evacuator reduces back pressure, especially when a suppressor is being used, making the UXR the perfect platform for suppressed shooting.

Bond Arms New Stinger Fireball CCW Pistol

Bond Arms has just unveiled the solution to a common concern in the firearms community: weight. Introducing the Stinger “Fireball,” a game-changer for those looking for a lightweight yet powerful option for self-defense.

What sets the Stinger “Fireball” apart is its innovative design that maintains the original frame/receiver dimensions while significantly reducing weight. How did they do it? By crafting the frame from lightweight anodized 7075 aluminum, Bond Arms managed to create a firearm that is not only functional but also remarkably light.

Despite its lightweight construction, the Stinger “Fireball” doesn’t compromise on performance. It boasts a low-profile break action lever for easy draw and maintains the same positioning and function as its counterparts. Plus, with its factory-chambered .22 Mag or 327 Fed Mag calibers, it packs a punch comparable to a standard 9mm without the added weight.

But what about recoil? Bond Arms has that covered too. The Stinger “Fireball” comes equipped with a B6 resin extended grip, offering superior felt recoil reduction and a secure hold, ensuring you stay on target when it matters most.

Weighing in at just 14.4 ounces and with a compact 3-inch barrel, the Stinger “Fireball” is one of Bond Arms’ lightest derringers yet. Its overall length of 5.5 inches makes it incredibly easy to conceal, while its single-action hammer and 7-pound trigger pull ensure reliability and safety.

Features:

Grip Size: Extended
Sights: Fixed

Savage Arms single shot adapter

Savage Arms releases a Single Shot Adapter for its most popular rifles in time for deer seasons across the country. This Savage accessory for Axis and 110 models converts rifles with a traditional detachable magazine into single shot rifles. This conversion enables hunters to use Savage centerfire rifles in states that allow straight-wall cartridges (or other calibers) in single shot configurations for deer hunting.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the Single Shot Adapter into our lineup of accessories,” said Beth Shimanski, Director of Marketing at Savage Arms. “We want to ensure that hunters get the most use out of their Savage firearms, and the Single Shot Adapter allows hunters to take advantage of today’s modern cartridges in historically restricted deer hunting seasons in several states.”

The Single Shot Adapters are available in four configurations – one for each configuration of rifle that Savage produces that use the Savage flush fit magazines. The Single Shot Adapter is not compatible with rifles that take ACIS magazines. With these adapters a hunter can use a Savage rifle chambered in popular options like 350 Legend, 400 Legend or 450 Bushmaster to hunt deer in states like Illinois. No modifications are needed to the rifle to use the Single Shot Adapter.
